Prior to starting up my own Personal Training business in 2008, I guess you could say I was always a health and fitness fanatic. I have always had a keen interest in most sports, varying from football, tennis and long-distance running, to martial arts such as karate and ju-jitsu. It all started for me when I did some work experience at my local gym when I was 15 years old, which gave me great introduction into the world of fitness. After completing my college studies in physical education, I got a job working in a gym at a local leisure centre. My time here gave me a real insight into how many members were exercising incorrectly or ineffectively. I would see members wandering around the gym like lost souls, repeating the same old exercises on the same old equipment, and most importantly, never getting results. At the time there was nobody around to help these people in the key areas of correct exercise technique, nutrition and motivation, and this impacted on my decision to become a Personal Trainer.
In 2008 I successfully completed the Premier Diploma course, and from here I started up my own Personal Training business. After this I went on to complete further qualifications, becoming a PadBox boxing instructor, certified nutritional advisor, UKKA certified Kettlebell instructor and certified nutritional advisor. Since becoming a personal trainer I have helped all of my clients achieve the body and lifestyle they've always wanted. My main focus is always on results and I take great satisfaction in seeing my clients get the results they want.
I run my Personal Training business from LA Fitness Brooklands in Trafford, Manchester and I train a diverse range of clients, from people who want to lose weight to people who want to improve their performance in their chosen sport. Anybody can train with me as a client, the more challenging the better. All I ask of you is that you are willing to learn and push yourself.
