"My body fat has reduced from a podgy 23% to a leaner 15%. Furthermore I feel more confident and committed to lose more. I would recommend Andy Wolstenholme as a Personal Trainer as he not only "talks the talk" but also "walks the walk".

About Andy

Crossfit

As a Crossfit Level 1 Coach and somebody who trains in Crossfit myself, I know the benefits Crossfit brings and how it can change your life. It has pushed my physical skills, health and fitness to levels I never thought possible.

Crossfit is the principal strength and conditioning program which is built around constantly varied, high intensity, functional movements. The method of Crossfit training will deliver a fitness which is broad, general and inclusive.

Utilising a broad range of functional movements from athletics, weightlifting, gymnastics and kettlebells, you will increase your work capacity and excel at all physical tasks. Through these movements Crossfit will develop your abilities across ALL of the 10 fundamental physical skills below:

  • Strength
  • Speed
  • Power
  • Balance
  • Agility
  • Accuracy
  • Co-ordination
  • Flexibility
  • Cardiovascular/Respiratory Endurance
  • Stamina

The Crossfit program is scaleable meaning it will meet the needs of anyone, regardless of the individual’s previous experience. This means that whether you are a parent who simply wants to keep up with your children, or an athlete who wants to excel at your chosen sport, Crossfit will work for you

World Class Fitness In 100 Words:

“Eat meat and vegetables, nuts and seeds, some fruit, little starch and no sugar.  Keep intake to levels that will support exercise but not body fat.  Practice and train major lifts: Deadlift, clean, squat, presses, C&J and snatch.  Similarly, master the basics of gymnastics: pull-ups, dips, rope climb, push-ups, sit-ups, presses to handstand, pirouettes, flips, splits, and holds.  Bike, run, swim, row, etc, hard and fast.  Five or six days per week mix these elements in as many combinations and patterns as creativity will allow.  Routine is the enemy.  Keep workouts short and intense.  Regularly learn and play new sports.”

Greg Glassman, CrossFit Founder
